Michael Chan is a San Francisco based photographer.
He has been published in Thrasher and Lowcard magazine, two of the most prominent skateboard magazines, as well as having features published in Complex, Battery and Third Coolest.
He started shooting action sports in his teens. His passion for skateboarding quickly evolved into a passion for photography following a drastic ankle injury. His skateboard photography timing has developed him into an event and concert photographer.
His body of work is mainly concerts and action, capturing the surroundings as they are. While it may seem like an in the moment shot, he hopes to capture the essence of the entire event, and the personalities contained within.
